Players of the Week - Lauren Green & Zach Danelson

Lauren Green of St. Cloud State and Zach Danelson of Minnesota State have been named the North Central Conference Baseball Players of the Week.

Green, a junior from Inglewood, Calif., batted .700 (7-10) with seven hits, four runs, five RBI, two homers and one double. He helped the Huskies go 3-for-4 against Minnesota Duluth. He also had a two-run home in the bottom of the seventh to tie the game in SCSU's extra inning win against UMD on April 7.

Danelson, a senior from Great Falls, Mont., hit. .647 (11-17) with seven RBI, seven runs, two doubles, one homerun and three stolen bases as MSU swept Augustana.

Others nominated: Jake Pole, Augustana; Evan Porter, Nebraska-Omaha; Bryan Denisen, Minnesota Duluth; Jabby Bakhit, North Dakota.

Pitchers of the Week - Tim Huber & Chris Odegaard

Tim Huber of Nebraska-Omaha and Chris Odegaard of Minnesota State have been named the North Central Conference Baseball Pitchers of the Week.

Huber, a senior from Omaha, Neb., tossed a complete-game, five-hitter against North Dakota. He posted nine strikeouts and one walk while allowing no earned runs.

Odegaard, a sophomore from Glencoe, Minn., threw a complete-game, 4-hitter against Augustana. He stuck out a career-high 10 batters while walking only one and yielding no earned runs.
