Frew led the league in runs scored (86), stolen bases (29) and on base percentage (.502), finished second in walks (40), third in homeruns (10, tied), fourth in hits (63) and total bases (106) and fifth in runs batted in (38) and slugging percentage (.620) in all-games statistics. Kessinger led the league in wins (10), complete games (5, tied) and opponent batting average (.191), finished third in strikeouts (78) and games started (11, tied) and fourth in innings pitched (61.1).

Frew is making his third appearance on the team while teammates Evan Porter and Chris Weimer and North Dakota's Chris Gulsvig is a two-time selection. The select squad features a rare set of brothers that play on different teams in Chris and Ryan Kessinger. As mentioned earlier Chris plays for Nebraska-Omaha while Ryan plays at Augustana.

Bob Herold tallied Coach of the Year honors. It is the third time, that Herold, in his eighth year at Nebraska-Omaha has been honored by his peers. He led Nebraska-Omaha to the second seed in the NCAA Central Region tournament that begins Thursday in Emporia, Kan. The Mavericks won both the NCC regular-season standings and NCC Championship tournament and finished the NCC season with a 22-1 record, including an amazing 18-game NCC winning streak.

Honors were voted on by the NCC coaches.
