Nine Repeat Selections Highlight Academic Football Team

Twenty-seven student-athletes have been named to the 2006-2007 Academic All-North Central Conference football team selected by a vote of the league's sports information directors. Central Washington placed six members on the team while North Dakota had five representatives on the list.

Highlighting the team are nine student-athletes making their second appearance on the select squad. Minnesota State's Spencer Dickinson is the lone team member to have aperfect 4.00 grade point average, but four other members of the team, North Dakota's Trent Christensen and Michael Greenwood and South Dakota's Matt Murphy and Frank Leibfarth, have GPAs above 3.90.

The select group has a combined grade point average of 3.65.
