UNO, UND and CWU Selected to NCAA DII Football Championship

Nebraska-Omaha, North Dakota and Central Washington received berths to the NCAA Division II Football Championships. Play will begin with Northwest Region action Saturday.

Play kicks off with #3-seed North Dakota hosting #6-seed Winona State and #4-seed Central Washington hosting #5-seed Ashland Saturday. Nebraska-Omaha is the top seed and will receive a first-round bye. The Mavericks, coming off their first undefeated season since 1954, will face the winner of the Central Washington/Ashland game. Defending national champion Grand Valley State is the #2 seed in the region and will host the North Dakota/Winona State winner. Second-round games will be held Saturday, November 24.

Game times and ticket information will be made public by hosting schools.
