Augustana placed three golfers on first team of the All-North Central Conference Women's Golf Team that was announced today by the conference office. In addition, Augustana's Peggy Kirby was recognized as the league's women's golf Coach of the Year for the first time in her career. The awards are based on performances at the NCC Championships.

Augustana won the 2007 North Central Conference Championship on Monday with an 21-stroke victory over North Dakota. Augustana's Courtney Belanger became the third NCC female golfer to repeat as champion when she claimed the individual title with a seven-stoke margin over teammate Kelly Lauer.

The league selections are highlighted by Augustana's Carley Roach becoming the second golfer to be named first team four times in her career and teammate Belanger, a two-time selection.
