Players of the Week - Dustin Little and Jordan Nuness
Dustin Little of South Dakota and Jordan Nuness of Minnesota Duluth has been named the North Central Conference Players of the Week.
Little, a junior guard from Castlewood, S.D., averaged 17.5 points, 8.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game in helping the Coyotes road wins over Augustana and St. Cloud State that claimed a share of the NCC title.
Little shot 68.8 percent (11x16) from the field while hitting 12 of 18 free throws (66.7 percent).
Nuness, a junior guard from Eden Prairie, Minn., hit 10 of 15 three-pointers (66.7 percent) as Minnesota Duluth ran their winning streak to six games with wins over Nebraska-Omaha and North Dakota. The wins earned UMD a home playoff game on Wednesday after starting 0-6 in the league.
Nuness averaged 19.0 points and 2.5 rebounds per game.
