Players of the Week - Jake Morrow & Corey McIntosh
Jake Morrow of Minnesota State and Corey McIntosh of Augustana have been named the North Central Conference Players of the Week.
Morrow, a junior forward from Wild Rose, Wis., scored a career-high 32 points as the Mavericks defeated Minnesota Duluth and ended the two-game week with a 23.5 point per game scoring average. He hit an outstanding 66.7% (18-27) of his field goals, including 7 of 11 from three-point range (63.6%). He also averaged 3.5 rebounds and 3.0 steals per game.
McIntosh, a senior guard from West Covina, Calif., pulled down a career-high nine rebounds against Nebraska-Omaha and then scored a career-high 37 points as Augustana knocked off previously undefeated South Dakota.
McIntosh averaged 24.5 points, 6.0 rebounds and 7.5 assists per game. He shot 41.0% (16-39) from the field and 94.1% (16-17) from the free throw line.
