Players of the Week - Denny Johnston & Atila Santos 

Denny Johnston of Nebraska-Omaha and Atila Santos of Minnesota State have been named the North Central Conference Players of the Week.

Johnston, a senior forward from Omaha, Neb., averaged 18.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists as Nebraska-Omaha split games in NCC play.

Johnston shot 70.6% (12-17) from the field, including 57.1% (4-7) from behind the three-point arc. He was also successful on 9 of 11 (81.8%) of his free throw attempts.

Santos, a senior center from Salvador, Brazil, recorded a career-high 25 points against North Dakota and a career-high 18 rebounds against South Dakota as MSU split their NCC contests.

Santos averaged 19.5 points and 14.0 rebounds in the two games in which he posted a double-double in each. He shot 57.7% (15-26) from the field and 75.0% (9-12) from the free throw line.
