Players of the Week - Michael Jenkins & Atila Santos

Michael Jenkins of Nebraska-Omaha and Atila Santos of Minnesota State have been named the North Central Conference Players of the Week.

Jenkins, a junior guard from Bellevue, Neb., averaged 18.5 points, 6.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists in leading Nebraska-Omaha to a pair of road wins over Missouri Western St. and Northwest Missouri State, both previously undefeated squads. The win over #3-ranked Northwest Missouri St. snapped a 19-game home winning streak for the Bearcats.

Jenkins shot 50.0% (11-22) from the field and hit 12 of 20 free throw shots.

Santos, a senior center from Salvador, Brazil, tallied a pair of double-doubles as he averaged 16.5 points and 10.0 rebounds in a pair of games in Colorado.

Santos shot 61.5% (8-13) from the field and 94.4% (17-18) from the free throw line in the games against Adams State and Fort Lewis.
