Player of the Week - Abby Morris

Abby Morris of Minnesota State has been named the North Central Conference Softball Players of the Week.

Morris, sophomore infielder from Urbandale, Iowa, hit .727 (8-11) in four games last week. She collected three RBI, seven runs, a double and two homeruns while walking three times and stealing four bases.

Pitcher of the Week - Kristin Danielson

Kristin Danielson of Minnesota Duluth has been named the North Central Conference Softball Pitcher of the Week.

Danielson, a sophomore from Mounds View, Minn., threw 19 2/3 innings last week with a 1.78 ERA. She struck ou 18 batters while allowing 24 hits en route to a 2-1 record. Her only blemish was an extra-inning loss to Truman State.
