Player of the Week - Brianna Cataudella

Brianna Cataudella of Nebraska-Omaha has been named the North Central Conference Softball Player of the Week.

Cataudella, a senior catcher from Itasca, Ill., hit .400 (6-15) in the championship weekend with three RBI, a double and a homerun.

In the Sunday's first game (semifinal), Cataudella led the offensive attack with a single, a home run, and two RBIs. Her sixth-inning homer kept the Mavs alive, sending the game to extra innings.

Pitcher of the Week - Beth Haley

Beth Haley of Nebraska-Omaha has been named the North Central Conference Softball Pitcher of the Week.

Haley, a freshman from Highland, Ind and newly crowned NCC Freshman of the Year, made three appearances in the NCC Tournament, picking up the first three wins for UNO.

Haley struck out 13 while allowing 22 hits, all singles, in 21 2/3 innings of action.
