Gormally, Moraes, Willis and Eiden Earn Swimming & Diving Honors

Carissa Gormally and Daniel Moraes of North Dakota have been named the NCC Swimmers of the Week while Kendra Willis and Ross Eiden of St. Cloud State have been honored as the NCC Divers of the Week.

Gormally, a sophomore from Williston, N.D., won the 50 freestyle (:23.70), 100 breaststroke (1:07.54) and was part of the the 200 freestyle relay team that posted an "A" cut time of 1:40.70 in a dual with St. Cloud State.

Moraes, a sophomore from Savador, Brazil, won he 100 backstroke (:52.00) and 200 freestyle (1:39.80) while being part of the first-place 400 medley relay with an "A" cut time of 1:39.80.

Willis, a senior from Neenah, Wis., won the 1-meter with a national qualifying score of 250.90 and finished second with a score of 247.85 in the three-meter in a dual with North Dakota.

Eiden, a junior from Rosemount, Minn., won the 1-meter (272.70) and finished third on the three-meter (264.90) board against North Dakota. His one-meter score is an automatic-qualifying performance for the NCAA Division II Swimming & Diving Championships.
