Nebraska-Omaha, South Dakota Capture NCC Indoor Track & Field Titles

It all came down to the last race on the men's side as South Dakota outdistanced Minnesota State by less than a second in the 4x400 relay to capture the North Central Conference Indoor Track & Field Championship. The field was tightly packed on the women's side as Nebraska-Omaha took the title with a 162.5 to 134 advantage over Minnesota State.

The NCC record fell in the women's pole vault when Minnesota State's Katelin Rains cleared 13-5 3/4. Meanwhile, the top three finishers in the women's 60-meter dash eclipsed the old NCC record set yesterday and then bettered today by Molly Belling of Nebraska-Omaha with a time of :07.56. South Dakota's Stefan Logan tied the NCC 60-meter dash mark with a time of :06.75.
