St. Cloud State Duo Take Multi-Event Titles
St. Cloud State's Kayla Todnem won the heptathlon and R.J. McGinnis won the decathlon at the NCC Multi-Event Championships held Monday and Tuesday in the greater Mankato area.
The first day's schedule was thrown into a little disarray when threatening weather forced the meet from St. Peter, Minn. to Mankato West High School and finally to the indoor confines of MSU's Myers Field House before finishing the day back out at Mankato West High School. The second day went at planned on the campus of Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter.
The scores from the multi-events will be carried over to the NCC Outdoor Track & Field Championships to be held May 11 and 12 in Duluth, Minn.
