NCC Indoor Track Teams Bring Home Three Top-10 Finishes and Three Individual Championships at NCAA Meet

North Central Conference Indoor Track & Field teams claimed three top-10 finishes at the NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships. The NCC teams were paced by the Minnesota State men in seventh place and the South Dakota women in sixth place. NCC student-athletes also claimed three individual event championships.

The Championships were held Friday & Saturday at Bud Myers Fieldhouse in Mankato, Minn.

Individual event champions were Minnesota State's Kaitlin Rains with a dominating performance in the meet-record-setting pole vault and South Dakota's freshman sensation Emma Erickson in the 800-meter run on the women's side and South Dakota's Terry Liggins in the 60-meter hurdles.
