South Dakota, Minnesota State Capture NCC Indoor Track & Field Titles
Minnesota State captured 14 of 19 events to capture the men's division by 136 points and South Dakota captured the women's title by a 30-point margin at the final North Central Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships at Myers Fieldhouse.
The only record to fall on the final day of the meet was when Terry Liggins of South Dakota posted an automatic qualifying time of :07.97 in the 60-meter hurdles. The record eclipsed the :08.00 mark set by Adrian Stuart of Minnesota State in 2004.
