Offensive Player of the Week - Vicky Braegelmann

Vicky Braegelmann of Minnesota Duluth has been named the Offensive Player of the Week by the North Central Conference.

Braegelmann, a junior outside hitter from Albany, Minn., hit . 458 (54k-10e-96ta) while averaging 5.40 kills per game in leading UMD to wins over Concordia-St. Paul, Augustana and Minnesota State.

Others nominated: Heidi Evans, North Dakota; Cathy Turner, Minnesota State; Ashley Gross, South Dakota; Andrea Oswald, Augustana.

Defensive Player of the Week - Heidi Evans

Heidi Evans of North Dakota has been named the Defensive Player of the Week by the North Central Conference.

Evans, a senior from Roseau, Minn., averaged 4.50 digs and 0.12 blocks per game in wins over Nebraska-Omaha and Bemidji State. She tallied a season-high 21 digs against UNO.

Others nominated: Blythe Johnson, Augustana; Mandy Reuter, Minnesota State; Chelsea Meierotto, Minnesota Duluth.

Setter of the Week - Allison Louwagie

Allison Louwagie of North Dakota has been named the Setter of the Week by the North Central Conference.

Louwagie, a sophomore setter from Marshall, Minn., averaged 15.00 assists and 1.00 kills per game in wins over Nebraska-Omaha and Bemidji State. She hit .120 (8k-5e-25ta) for the week.
