Offensive Players of the Week - Kari Wolford & Kathleen Hruska

Kari Wolford of Minnesota Duluth and Kathleen Hruska of South Dakota have been named the Offensive Players of the Week by the North Central Conference.

Wolford, a outside hitter from Avon, Minn., hit .397 (57k-11e-116ta), averaging 4.38 kills per game as Minnesota Duluth claimed the championship of the Colorado Premier Challenge with wins over Regis, Cal St.-Los Angeles, Augustana and Southwest Minnesota State.

Hruska, a junior middle hitter from Sioux Falls, S.D., averaged 4.22 kills per game while hitting .453 (76k-13e-139ta) in four matches last week. She has led USD to a 9-0 start.

Defensive Player - Danielle Zimmermann

Danielle Zimmermann of Minnesota State has been named the Defensive Player of the Week by the North Central Conference.

Zimmermann, a junior from Wellsburg, Iowa, averaged 2.13 blocks per game as the Mavericks went 3-1 at the Rockhurst touranment.

Setter of the Week - Katie Gangelhoff

Katie Gangelhoff of Minnesota Duluth has been named the Setter of the Week by the North Central Conference.

Gangelhoff, a junior from South St. Paul, Minn., averaged 15.15 assists and 2.69 digs per game in four matches at the Colorado Premier Challenge.
