Offensive - Amanda Beekman

Amanda Beekman of Minnesota State has been named the Offensive Player of the Week by the North Central Conference.

Beekman, a freshman outside hitter from Marshall, Minn., hit .481 (26k-1e-52ta) and averaged 4.33 kills per game as the Mavericks swept Upper Iowa and St. Cloud State.

Others nominated: Vicky Braegelmann, Minnesota Duluth; Cayla Schroeder, Augustana; Ashley Shields, St. Cloud State; Amanda Polzin, North Dakota.

Defensive - Jenna Lago

Jenna Lago of Augustana has been named the Defensive Player of the Week by the North Central Conference.

Lago, a senior libero from Ankeny, Iowa, averaged 6.75 digs per game in matches against Wayne State, South Dakota and Nebraska-Omaha.

Setter - Katie Gangelhoff

Katie Gangelhoff of Minnesota Duluth has been named the Setter of the Week by the North Central Conference.

Gangelhoff, a junior setter from South St. Paul, Minn., averaged 14.62 kills per game as Minnesota Duluth downed Nebraska-Omaha and South Dakota on the road.
