Players of the Week - Erika Quigley & Karen Thies

Erika Quigley of St. Cloud State and Karen Thies of Nebraska-Omaha have been named the NCC Players of the Week for the second consecutive week.

Quigley, a senior post from Duluth, Minn., averaged 25.3 points, 12.5 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 2.0 steals and 2.0 blocked shots per game in games against Minnesota-Morris, North Central, Alaska-Fairbanks and Wisconsin-Eau Claire.

She shot .577 (41-71) from the field and .857 (18x21) from the free throw line. She was one rebound away from four double-doubles for the week and had a stellar 28-point, 18-rebound performance against Wisconsin-Eau Claire.

Thies, a senior guard from Durango, Colo., shot .577 (15x26) from from the field while averaging 22.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.5 steals per game in contests against Peru State and York.
