Player of the Week - Whitney Hofer

Whitney Hofer of Augustana has been named the NCC Player of the Week.

Hofer, a junior forward from Hartford, S.D., averaged 16.5 points and 13.5 rebounds per game in wins over Northern Michigan and Missouri Valley.

She shot 64.3% (9x14) from the field while hitting 14 of 18 free throws (77.8%). She also averaged 2.5 blocks per game as the Vikings went 2-0 at the Wildwood Lodge Tip-Off Classic in St. Paul, Minn.
