Nate Buys Named NCC Wrestler of the Week
Nate Buys of Augustana have been named the NCC Wrestler of the Week.
Buys, a senior from Hull, Iowa, won the 197-pound division at the Daktronics/Warren Williamson Open in Brookings on Saturday. In the process, he was named the Most Outstanding Wrestler. He pinned Rory Miller in 4:18 and scored a technical fall over Myles Ulmer, 17-2, before pinning John Jones in 3:48 in the semifinals and posting a 3-1 decision over Jacob Marrs in the championship bout.
