Tony Lewis of Nebraska-Omaha and John Sundgren of St. Cloud State have been named the NCC Wrestlers of the Week.

Lewis, a junior from Ulysses, Kan., defeated Brady Wilson of Minnesota State, 3-1, in three overtimes to help Nebraska-Omaha beat Minnesota State, 32-7. Lewis avenged an overtime loss to Wilson in the finals of the NWCA National Duals in January which gave MSU the team victory, 18-16, to claim the title. Lewis is ranked #6 in NCAA Division II competition while Wilson is ranked #2. UNO was ranked #2 as a team coming into the dual while Minnesota State was ranked #1.

Sundgren, a freshman from Blaine, Minn., pinned Upper Iowa's Travis Eggers in the third period to spark #11-ranked St. Cloud State to a 27-12 win over the #9-ranked Peacocks. Eggers came into the match ranked #4 in NCAA Division II competition while Sundgren is unranked. Sundgren also posted an 11-4 victory over John Vaith of St. John's (Minn.).
