Offensive Player of the Week - Beth McGill

Beth McGill of Nebraska-Omaha has been named the North Central Conference Offensive Player of the Week.

McGill, a senior forward from Omaha, Neb., scored four goals in wins over Augustana and Texas Women's University. McGill uncorked 16 shots for the week, including 10 against Augustana.

Others nominated: Danielle Scheuer, Minnesota Duluth; Cassie Lund, North Dakota; Jeana Luedtke, Minnesota State; Steph Ayers, Augustana; Tina Brummer, South Dakota.

Defensive Players of the Week - Briana Francisco and Elizabeth Odorisio

Brianna Francisco of Minnesota Duluth and Elizabeth Odorisio of South Dakota has been named the North Central Conference Defensive Players of the Week.

Francisco, a junior goalkeeper from Eden Prairie, Minn., made 5 stops while posting shutouts against St. Cloud State and Minnesota State. She spent 180 minutes in the net.

Odorisio, a freshman goalkeeper from Omaha, Neb., did not allow a goal in almost 155 minutes in net against Southwest Minnesota St. and Augustana. She had made five saves.
