Offensive: Lauren Herrmann

Lauren Herrmann of North Dakota has been named the North Central Conference Offensive Player of the Week.

Herrmann, a sophomore forward from Eagan, Minn., scored two goals as North Dakota downed Concordia-St. Paul 4-0 and then added an assist in UND's 3-0 win over Wayne State. She collected seven shots for the week.

Others nominated: Jenna Doerneman, Augustana; Ann Kincaid, Minnesota State; Jessie Cody, St. Cloud State.

Defensive - Nicole Johannson & Ann Opsahl

Nicole Johannson of Minneosota State and Ann Opsahl of South Dakota have been named the North Central Conference Defensive Players of the Week.

Johannson, a senior goalkeeper from North Delta, B.C., made nine saves in two games as Minnesota State claimed matching 4-0 wins over Wayne State and Minnesota State Moorhead.

Opsahl, a junior goalkeeper from Yankton, S.D., also posted two shutouts with a 4-0 win over Southwest Minnesota State and a 2-0 win over Concordia-St. Paul. She made five saves in the two games.
