Offensive Player of the Week - Laura Leber

Laura Leber of Minnesota State has been named the North Central Conference Offensive Player of the Week.

Leber, a freshman from Council Bluffs, Iowa, scored two goals and added an assist as Minnesota State defeated Nebraska-Omaha 3-0. It is only the second time in the history of the two storied programs that Minnesota State has defeated Nebraska-Omaha.

Others nominated: Gabrielle Najera, St. Cloud State; Angela O'Loughlin, South Dakota; Stephanie Goos, Augustana.

Defensive Player of the Week - Nicole Johannson

Nicole Johannson of Minnesota State has been named the North Central Conference Defensive Player of the Week.

Johannson, a senior goalkeeper from North Delta, B.C., made eight saves in posting a 3-0 shutout over Nebraska-Omaha.
