Player of the Week - Jay Bresnahan

Jay Bresnahan of Minnesota State has been named the North Central Conference Baseball Player of the Week.

Bresnahan, a sophomore third baseman from Edina, Minn., hit .545 (19x33) in nine games on MSU's Florida trip. He collected 15 RBI, two doubles, one triple and one homerun while stealing two bases.

The highlight performance came in the second game of a doubleheader with Clarion where Bresnahan went 4 for 4 with five RBI. In the nine games last week, he had six multiple-hit games.

Pitcher of the Week - Danny Klous

Danny Klous of Minnesota State has been named the North Central Conference Baseball Pitcher of the Week.

Klous, a senior from Grand Rapids, Minn., tossed two complete-game shutouts in Florida. He allowed only eight hits and one walk while fanning 15 batters in 14 innnings.
