Player of the Week - Josh Simon

Josh Simon of Minnesota State has been named the North Central Conference Baseball Player of the Week.

Simon, a freshman from New Prague, Minn., went 7 of 10 at the plate with two doubles, two homeruns, five RBI and nine runs scored in five games last week.

Also nominated: Anthony Brenner, North Dakota; Matt Boro, Nebraska-Omaha; Kirby Marquart, St. Cloud State.

Pitcher of the Week - Tim Huber

Tim Huber of Nebraska-Omaha has been named the North Central Conference Baseball Pitcher of the Week.

Huber, a junior from Omaha, Neb., threw a six-inning complete game, one-hitter against Augustana. He struck out eight batters in the shutout win.
