Player of the Week - Nate Meissner

Nate Meissner of North Dakota has been named the North Central Conference Baseball Player of the Week.

Meissner, a senior infielder from Brandon, Minn., hit .611 (11x18) in five games last week, including taking three of four games from St. Cloud State to give UND the third seed in the NCC Baseball Championship.

He hit two homeruns, two doubles and collected five walks on the week while scoring nine runs and tallying eight RBI.

Also nominated: Eric Austvold, Minnesota State; Matt Meyer, Nebraska-Omaha; Ryan Sturm, St. Cloud State.

Pitcher of the Week - Adam McGrane

Adam McGrane of St. Cloud State has been named the North Central Conference Baseball Pitcher of the Week.

McGrane, a senior from Plymouth, Minn., pitched a complete-game, six-hit shutout of North Dakota.

He collected six strikeouts while not allowing a multiple base hit.
