Players of the Week - Evan Porter & Andrew Heieie
Evan Porter of Nebraska-Omaha and Andrew Heieie of Minnesota Duluth have been named the North Central Conference Baseball Players of the Week.
Porter, a junior from Omaha, Neb., hit grand slams in back-to-back games against Augustana on Saturday. For the week he hit .571 (8-14) with 14 RBI, seven runs scored, four doubles, two homeruns and two walks.
Heieie, a senior from Apple Valley, Minn., hit five homeruns in 11 at-bats against North Dakota. He finished the week hitting .500 (8-16) with 12 RBI, eight runs scored, a double and two walks.

Pitcher of the Week - Nathan Kafka
Nathan Kafka of Minnesota State has been named the North Central Conference Baseball Pitcher of the Week.
Kafka, a junior from Denmark, Wis., appeared in relief in five games last week, compiling a 1-0 record with three saves. He allowed only two singles in 4 2/3 innings of work with no earned runs and four strikeouts.
