Offense - Tommy Flyger & Brooks Little

Tommy Flyger of Augustana and Brooks Little of South Dakota have been named the NCC Offensive Players of the Week.

Flyger, a senior quarterback from Sioux Falls, S.D., completed 18 of 30 passes for 258 yards and two touchdowns in Augustana's win at Minnesota Duluth. He also rushed 13 times for 41 yards and one touchdown.

Little, a junior from Castlewood, S.D., caught seven passes for 57 yards and the game-winning touchdown with 15 seconds left against Central Washington.

Defense - John Barker & Nick Ovenden

John Barker of South Dakota and Nick Ovenden of Augustana have been named the NCC Defensive Players of the Week.

Barker, a senior defensive tackle from Sioux City, Iowa, collected five tackles (2 solo, 3 assists), including two sacks while forcing a fumble. USD limited Central Washington to only 169 yards of total offense in the game and only 18 yards in the second half.

Ovenden, a senior linebacker from Sioux Falls, S.D., forced a fumble and grabbed an interception in the UMD endzone and returned it 19 yards. He also had seven tackles (4 solo, 3 assist).

Special Teams - Brandon Elliott & Coby Sadler

Brandon Elliott of Western Washington and Coby Sadler of Central Washington have been named the NCC Special Teams Players of the Week.

Elliott, a junior from Auburn, Wash., blocked a punt that set up the winning touchdown as Western Washington overcame a 14-point fourth quarter deficit to defeat St. Cloud State.

Sadler, a senior from Ellensburg, Wash., pounded out six punts for a 43.3 yard average at South Dakota. Three punts landed inside the 20 with two of his final three punts being downed at the 1-yard line.
