Offensive - Amos Allen & Zach Miller

Zach Miller of Nebraska-Omaha and Amos Allen of South Dakota has been named the NCC Offensive Player of the Week.

Miller, a junior quarterback from Weston, Neb., rushed 17 times for 124 yards and one touchdown and completed 17 of 27 pass attempts for 218 yards and three touchdowns against Minnesota Duluth. It is the first 100-yard rushing, 200-yard passing game of his career.

Allen, a senior running back from Miami, Fla., rushed 29 times for 260 yards (9.0 ypc) and three touchdowns as South Dakota claimed the Silver Bedpan with a win over Augustana.

Others nominated: Johnny Spevak, Central Washington; Tyler Schulte, Augustana; Donte Shackelford, Minnesota State.

Defensive - David Kamin

David Kamin of St. Cloud State have been named the NCC Defensive Player of the Week.

Kamin, a sophomore linebacker from Menomonee Falls, Wis., had a career-high nine tackles (3 solo, 6 assist) and helped forced two of the Huskies' three sacks on the day.

Also nominated: Justiss Scales, South Dakota; Rob Lewis, Nebraska-Omaha; Buddy Wood, Central Washington; Brandon McMichael, Augustana; John Jones, Minnesota State.

Special Teams - Frank Leibfarth

Frank Leibfarth of South Dakota has been named the NCC Special Teams Player of the Week.

Leibfarth, a senior kicker from Yankton, S.D., connected all three of his field goal attempts and all three of his extra-point attempts against Augustana.

Also nominated: Dustin Rice, Augustana; Rocky Horn, St. Cloud State.
