Players of the Week - Zac Robinson & Marques Blank
Zac Robinson of Nebraska-Omaha and Marques Blank of Augustana have been named the North Central Conference Players of the Week.
Robinson, a senior guard from Omaha, Neb., averaged 20.7 points, 5.7 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.0 steals per game in wins over Peru State, Regis and Colorado State-Pueblo.
He shot .517 (15x29) from three-point range and .692 (9x13) from the free throw line to go along with a .388 (19x49) clip from the field.
Blank, sophomore guard from Holmen, Wis., shot a blistering .636 percent from the field (7x11), including a 4-5 effort from 3-point range last week in leading the Vikings to big wins over Nebraska-Kearney and Missouri Southern State.
Against Nebraska-Kearney, Blank was 6-for-7 from the field and 3-for-3 from 3-point range. He followed that up with a career-high 13-assist performance against Missouri Southern State, more than doubling his previous career high of 6 assists. He averaged 9 assists per game this week.
