Player of the Week - Tyler Cain

Tyler Cain of South Dakota has been named the North Central Conference Player of the Week.

Cain, a sophomore forward from Rochester, Minn., averaged 6.5 blocks and 7.8 rebounds per game while hitting 80% of his field goals (16-20) as USD won all four games last week.

Cain a career-high and tied the USD single-game record with nine blocked shots against Nebraska-Kearney en route to 26 blocks for the week. He had six blocked shots against Chadron State and William Penn and had a week-low five blocks against Truman State.
