Player of the Week - Abby Wagner

Abby Wagner of Minnesota State has been named the North Central Conference Softball Player of the Week.

Wagner, a junior from Des Moines, Iowa., batted 9-for-11 (.818) with a double, homerun and eight runs batted in. She slugged 1.182 and had an on-base percentage of .846 while drawing two intentional walks and scored seven runs.

Also nominated: Tagney Jones, South Dakota; Jess Price, North Dakota; Brooke Wagner, Nebraska-Omaha.

Pitcher of the Week - Samantha Rohr

Samantha Rohr of Minnesota State has been named the North Central Conference Softball Pitcher of the Week.

Rohr, a junior from Lakeville, Minn., allowed no runs and collected two wins and a save in three appearances last week.

She struck out 13 batters in 13 innings while only yielding one walk. Against Upper Iowa, Rohr posted a no-hitter in the five inning games.
