Player of the Week - Abby Wagner

Abby Wagner of Minnesota State has been named the North Central Conference Softball Player of the Week.

Wagner, a junior first baseman from Des Moines, Iowa hit .545 (6x11) in four games at the NCC Tournament with a double, four RBI, four runs scored and two walks.

Pitcher of the Week - Meagan Teale

Meagan Teal of Minnesota State has been named the North Central Conference Softball Pitcher of the Week.

Teal, a sophomore from Savage, Minn., went 2-0 at the NCC Tournament, including the win in the championship game to give the Mavericks their first NCC Softball title since 1989.

She struck out 18 batters in 13 innings of action while surrendering one earned run (0.54 ERA) and walking only three batters.
