UND Finishes 2nd, 5th at NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships

The North Dakota men's team finished second while the women's team finished fifth and were the top NCC finishers at the NCAA Division II Swimming & Diving Championships that concluded Saturday in Buffalo, N.Y.

Rodrigo Ferriera of North Dakota finished his career with his fourth consecutive national championship in the 100 backstroke.

Three UND relay men's relay squads set new national marks in winning their events: 200 Freestyle Relay (Buhr, Westergren, Knight, Periera), 400 Medley Relay (Ferreira, Pereira, Zabler, Knight) and 200 Medley Relay (Ferreira, Pereira, Westergren, Knight).
