Todnem and McGinnis Named Track & Field Athletes of the Week
Kayla Todnem and R.J. McGinnis of St. Cloud State have been named the North Central Conference Outdoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week.
Todnem, a senior from St. James, Minn., won the heptathlon title at the NCC Multi-Event Championships with a provisional-qualifying score of 4,593 points. Todnem is the second St. Cloud State student-athlete to win the NCC heptathlon.
McGinnis, a freshman from Burnsville, Minn., won the decathlon at the NCC Multi-Event Championships with a score of 6,741 points. The mark is a provisional qualifying mark and makes McGinnis the first St. Cloud State student-athlete to win the NCC decathlon.
