Offensive - Sarah Wyffels

Sarah Wyffels of Minnesota Duluth has been named the Offensive Player of the Week by the North Central Conference.

Wyffels, a sophomore middle blocker frm Marshall, Minn., hit .449 (25k-3e-49ta) and averaged 4.17 kills per game as UMD moved to 8-0 in league play with sweeps over Minnesota State and St. Cloud State.

Others nominated: Cayla Schroeder, Augustana; Amanda Beekman, Minnesota State; Ashley Gross, South Dakota.

Defensive - Kayla Jansen

Kayla Jansen of Nebraska-Omaha has been named the Defensive Player of the Week by the North Central Conference.

Jansen, a sophomore libero from Omaha, Neb., averaged 8.67 digs per game as Nebraska-Omaha swept North Dakota.

Others nominated: Amber Kobus, South Dakota; Kelly Sandstrom, Minnesota State; Courtney Halvorson, North Dakota; Jenna Lago, Augustana; Crystal Hoffrogger, Minnesota Duluth.

Setter - Katie Gangelhoff

Katie Gangelhoff of Minnesota Duluth has been named the Setter of the Week by the North Central Conference.

Gangelhoff, a junior setter from South St. Paul, Minn., averaged 17.00 assists per game as Minnesota Duluth kept its conference streak alive with wins of Minnesota State and St. Cloud State.
