Offensive - Carly Christensen

Carlie Christensen of Nebraska-Omaha has been named the Offensive Player of the Week by the North Central Conference.

Christensen, a senior middle blocker from Omaha, Neb. hit .492 (33k-4e-59ta) while averaging 5.50 kills per game in wins over Upper Iowa and South Dakota.

Others nominated: Ashley Nachreiner, Minnesota State; Beth Talcott, Augustana; Laura Slagter, South Dakota; Amanda Polzin, North Dakota; Emily Baldwin, St. Cloud State.

Defensive - Cayla Schroeder

Cayla Schroeder of Augustana has been named the Defensive Player of the Week by the North Central Conference.

Schroeder, a junior outside hitter from Kasson, Minn., averaged 8.75 digs and 1.00 blocks against Minnesota State. The 35 digs was a career high and her first 30-dig effort of her career.

Setter - Steph Sandstrom

Steph Sandstrom of Minnesota State has been named the Setter of the Week by the North Central Conference.

Sandstrom, a senior setter from Andover, Minn., averaged 15.25 assists per game in matches against South Dakota and Augustana.
