Offensive - Sarah Wyffels

Sarah Wyffels of Minnesota Duluth has been named the Offensive Player of the Week by the North Central Conference.

Wyffels, a sophomore middle blocker from Marshall, Minn., hit .306 (37k-7e-98ta) and averaged 3.08 kills as Minnesota Duluth had a huge week with wins over Concordia-St. Paul, Augustana and Minnesota State.

Others nominated: Ellen Andrews, Augustana; Carlie Christensen, Nebraska-Omaha; Amanda Beekman, Minnesota State.

Defensive - Danielle Beckstrand

Danielle Beckstrand of Minnesota Duluth has been named the Defensive Player of the Week by the North Central Conference.

Beckstrand, a senior outside hitter from Baudette, Minn., averaged 5.42 digs and 0.58 blocks per game in wins over nationally-ranked Concordia-St. Paul, Augustana and Minnesota State.

Others nominated: Kayla Jansen, Nebraska-Omaha; Cayla Schroeder, Augustana; Dana Ostertag, Minnesota State.

Setter - Lisa Hoegh

Lisa Hoegh of Augustana has been named the Setter of the Week by the North Central Conference.

Hoegh, a junior from Byron, Minn., averaged 14.14 assists per game in matches with Northern State and Minnesota Duluth.
