Players of the Week - Heather Johnson & Ashley Holiday

Heather Johnson of Minnesota State and Ashley Holiday of Augustana have been named the NCC Players of the Week.

Johnson, a junior guard from Janesville, Minn., averaged 24.3 points and 2.3 assists per game as Minnesota State moved to 7-0 with three wins last week.

Johnson shot a sizzling 68.3% (28-41) from the field, including hitting 12 of 18 three-pointers (66.7%).

Holiday, a senior center from Hayti, S.D., averaged 19.0 points, 9.7 rebounds 3.0 steals and 5.3 blocks per game as Augustana defeated Colorado-Colorado Springs and then won the Chuck Stephens Classic with wins over Regis and Colorado State-Pueblo, all in a three-day span. She was named the MVP of the Classic.

Holiday shot 63.4% (26-41) from the field.
