Brad Padgett of St. Cloud State has been named the NCC Wrestler of the Week.

Padgett, a junior from Buckley, Wash., won the 184-pound class in the Red Division of the Dragon Open in Moorhead, Minn. with a 4-0 record. He started off the tournament by defeating Cody Salo of Concordia (Moorhead), 7-4, before defeating unattached Aaron Young, 18-5. In the semifinals he knocked off the #2-ranked wrestler in NCAA Division III, Robbie Gotreau of Augsburg, 10-3, and won the tourney with a 7-2 win over Matt Michaelson of Dickinson State.
