Offensive - Carly Petersen

Carly Petersen of Minnesota State has been named the North Central Conference Offensive Player of the Week.

Petersen, a sophomore forward from Verona, Wis., scored two goals in Minnesota State's shutout of Augustana. She tallied a team-high five shots, including three shots on goal.

Others nominated: Beth McGill, Nebraska-Omaha; Cassie Lund, North Dakota; Ashley Herold, St. Cloud State; Danielle Scheuer, Minnesota Duluth.

Defensive - Elizabeth Kelly

Elizabeth Kelly of St. Cloud State has been named the North Central Conference Defensive Player of the Week.

Kelly, a freshman goalkeeper from Omaha, Neb., allowed only one goal in 200 minutes of net time. She shutout Concordia-St. Paul while making one save and then made 11 saves while holding Minnesota Duluth to a 1-1 tie.
