Offense - Erin Seidel

Erin Seidel of Augustana has been named the North Central Conference Offensive Players of the Week.

Seidel, a senior from Sioux Falls, S.D., scored five goals this week as Augustana posted three wins, including two NCC victories that snapped a 36-game NCC skid. Seidel had 16 shots in the three games.

Others nominated: Beth McGill, Nebraska-Omaha; Trista Cooke, St. Cloud State; Jeana Luedtke, Minnesota State.

Defense - Ashley Rohwer & Ellen Petersen

Ashley Rohwer of North Dakota and Ellen Petersen of Nebraska-Omaha have been named the North Central Conference Defensive Players of the Week.

Rohwer, a senior goalkeeper from Andover, Minn., allowed only one goal for the week, which came against top-ranked Nebraska-Omaha in a 1-0 loss, and then posted a shutout of South Dakota. In all she faced 43 shots for the week and made 14 saves.

Petersen, a junior goalkeeper from Omaha, Neb., posted shutouts of North Dakota and Mary. She made two saves while facing seven shots.
