Offense - Leslie Peterson & Sarah Halbach

Leslie Peterson of Minnesota State and Sarah Halbach of South Dakota have been named the North Central Conference Offensive Players of the Week.

Peterson, a junior midfielder from Burnsville, Minn., posted two goals (including the game winner) and added one assist in Minnesota State's 4-1 win over South Dakota. She had four shots.

Halbach, a junior forward/midfielder from St. Paul, Minn., collected two goals (including the game winner) as South Dakota downed St. Cloud State 4-1. She had three shots on the week, including one against Minnesota State.

Defense - Briana Francisco

Briana Francisco of Minnesota Duluth has been named the North Central Conference Defensive Player of the Week.

Francisco, a senior goalkeeper from Eden Prairie, Minn., made four saves without allowing a goal in 120 minutes of netminding as UMD and North Dakota battled to a 0-0 tie.
