Offense - Laura Leber

Laura Leber of Minnesota State has been named the North Central Conference Offensive Player of the Week.

Leber, a freshman from Council Bluffs, Iowa, scored two of the Mavericks' three goals on the week as Minnesota State stayed undefeated in leauge play. Leber scored one goal in each of the games against North Dakota and South Dakota, the later being the game-winner.

Defense - Nicole Johannson

Nicole Johannson of Minnesota State has been named the North Central Conference Defensive Player of the Week.

Johannson, a senior goalkeeper from North Delta, B.C., allowed no goals as Minnesota State defeated North Dakota 2-0 and South Dakota 1-0. She made three saves against North Dakota and eight saves in the tight game with South Dakota.

Johannson has been credited with seven of the team's nine shutouts, which ties a school record for team shutouts in a season.
