Offensive - Laura Leber

Laura Leber of Minnesota State has been named the North Central Conference Offensive Player of the Week.

Leber, a freshman from Council Bluffs, Iowa, had game-winning goals in both of Minnesota State's wins over the weekend vs. Minnesota Duluth and North Dakota. She tallied four shots. The wins enabled MSU to finish the NCC schedule undefeated.

Defensive - Briana Francisco

Briana Francisco of Minnesota Duluth has been named the North Central Conference Defensive Player of the Week.

Francisco, a senior goalkeeper from Eden Prairie, Minn., allowed two goals to NCC champion Minnesota State while making eight saves and then made 12 saves in 1-0 shutout of St. Cloud State. For the week she allowed two goals in 180 minutes of net time with 20 saves.
