Augustana, Minnesota State Each Place Two On All-NCC First Team

Sioux Falls, S.D. -- Augustana and Minnesota State each placed two members on the six-member All-North Central Conference Men's Golf first team announced today by the conference office. In addition, Augustana head coach Rick Krsnak and Minnesota State head coach Mike Zinni were named the Coaches of the Year. The awards are based on performances at the 2006 NCC Championships.

Augustana and Minnesota State tied for the North Central Conference Men's Golf Championship on October 9 with a four-stroke victory over North Dakota. Minnesota State's Mitch Olinger claimed medalist honors with a three-stroke advantage over Augustana's Chris Mithelman.
