Three-Time Pick Rhoten Highlights Men’s Academic All-NCC At-Large Team
Three-time NCC selection Jason Rhoten highlights the 13-member 2007-2008 North Central Conference Men’s All-Academic At-Large team announced today. Three other team members, North Dakota’s John Fitzgerald, St. Cloud State’s Kevin Luckens and Minnesota State’s Marty Wahle, have been named to the team for the second time. Three-time selection Jill Smolczyk of South Dakota highlights 12 student-athletes named to the 2007-08 Academic All-North Central Conference Women’s At-Large team by a vote of the league’s sports information directors. Smolczyk is making her third appearance on the elite squad while Amanda Kaler of North Dakota and Emilie Kluth of South Dakota are appearing for the second time. St. Cloud State placed three members on the six-member All-North Central Conference Men’s Golf first team announced today by the conference office. Augustana placed three golfers on first team of the All-North Central Conference Women’s Golf Team that was announced today by the conference office. Thirty-Four Student-Athletes Named To Academic Golf Honor Roll
The NCC Commisssioner’s Academic Honor Roll for golf has been compiled and 36 student-athletes have acheived the honor. To qualify student-athletes must have a minimum 3.20 grade point average, have completed at least two semesters at their current school and have competed against outside competition. MORE >>
